Calling himself "one pissed-off patriot," Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson is calling for a boycott of the New York Times.
Patterson cited a June 22 front-page story in the Times, which detailed how the federal government was tracking financial transactions linked to terrorism, as the reason for his ire.
"I could have just sat back steaming or get it off my chest," he said.
"I can't believe that the president of the United States asks them not to print the story and they do it anyway."
