Or whatever their number is. Consider the source--The New York Post-- but it appears that the New York Times is about to remove the pay wall for online access to op-ed columnists.
As former Newsday colleague Will Bunch points out, the pay plan has long been criticized and apparently been far less successful than the Times had hoped.
Lefty bloggers would be especially happy to have Paul Krugman and Frank Rich back, free and available. Then there'd be less of that furtive posting and quick removal of their columns.
Newspaper people may not be quite so happy. After all, there's one more failed revenue stream.
