Why Editing Matters

There's a new site at Why Editing Matters. This grows out of multiple discussions going on over a response to foolish decisions to outsource editing work to India, eliminate copy-editing positions, put design over editing at all costs and so on. More to come on this issue. But if you're an editor, reader or anyone else who believes copy editors are more important than ever, values editing as a skill we need to maintain and respect, feel free to contribute.
