Tim McGuire has plenty to say on the newspaper death watch.
It seems like only a couple of years ago that many newsroom people were pining for a private businessman to take over their paper from their failing public media company. That hasn't worked so well--I don't need to point fingers, right? So what's next? Are we all hoping for a rich family to suddenly develop an interest in journalism? We seem to be running out of ideas for saviors so what should we do?
